Gurock Software just released version 1.1 of its new test management software TestRail. TestRail is a web-based test case management software that helps software development teams and QA departments to efficiently manage, track and organize software testing efforts.

TestRail 1.1 comes with various new features and improvements and introduces a complete role and permission system. Permissions and roles allow TestRail administrators to restrict user permissions, hide projects from users or even make entire projects read-only. Additional improvements in the product's user interface make it easier to work with large projects and the new Blocked test result status allows teams to highlight tests that cannot currently be executed.

TestRail is installed directly on your own server and can be ordered for an introductory price of $239 (US) per user, with additional discounts available for multi-user packs.
