VersionOne announced its 2014 Fall Release which includes native CA PPM integration, advanced project forecasting through Monte Carlo simulation, and portfolio-level reporting with SAFe 3.0. These new capabilities make scaling easier by aligning agile and traditional project teams under a single vision.

The new VersionOne capabilities help portfolio managers easily visualize and manage feature-level agile project activity in the context of enterprise business plans:
* CA PPM VersionOne native integration: A partnership with CA Technologies delivers an integrated solution that synchronizes agile ALM and PPM to provide a complete picture of planning, funding and execution across all development teams.
* Advanced Forecasting: The industry's first solution to leverage Monte Carlo Simulation, which uses quantitative data to forecast project completion dates.
* Portfolio-Level Planning: New portfolio-level progress and burn-up metrics aligned with SAFe 3.0 make it easy to monitor feature progress against plan, identify risk early, and understand what features will ship on time, on budget.
* Epic Dependency: Visualization of highest-level relationships across projects and teams to understand change and its downstream impact.

In addition Estimably, VersionOne's new poker-style mobile estimation game for distributed software teams, is now generally available. VersionOne has made several other enhancements in its 2014 Fall Release, including automatic status transitions, custom field visibility, and improved interactivity in its project dashboard reports.
