XebiaLabs has announced that its application release automation tool, XL Deploy, is available from the Azure Marketplace. The new offering allows development and operations teams to seamlessly deploy existing enterprise applications and “next gen” apps to Microsoft Azure, on-premise environments and other clouds with a click of a button. Users can eliminate the need to script deployments and more easily scale application deployment across the enterprise with XL Deploy.

“Running XL Deploy on Azure is a great choice if you are looking to use Azure to provide on-demand development and testing environments, or if you simply want a cloud-hosted solution to manage existing on-premise environments,” said Andrew Phillips, Vice President of Product Management for XebiaLabs. “Users now have tremendous flexibility to deploy many different kinds of applications to Azure and non-Azure target environments.”

XL Deploy allows users to automate the application deployment process so software releases can occur in a repeatable, standard and efficient way, leading to faster delivery of higher quality software at enterprise scale. With XL Deploy, development teams can move away from scripting and easily scale deployment across the enterprise.

XL Deploy supports a broad variety of application types – from complex legacy enterprise applications to “built for the cloud” microservices apps – and enables developers to deploy to Windows and UNIX target systems, whether on-premises, in the cloud on in a hybrid environment.
